Amaia is an MPhil Digital Humanities student who obtained her BA in American Studies and English. Her MPhil research focuses on the construction and re-embodiment of personhood and gender in the digital age, and how speculative fiction and other media shape our understandings of individual and collective digital experiences. Furthermore, she has a particular interest in exploring assisted reproductive technology and how misinformation regarding these procedures is disseminated online.
