Anju Kinoshita is an MPhil student and a Rotary Global Grant Scholar at the Department of Education in Cambridge. She obtained her BA degree in Japan, specialising in global studies and English teaching as a second language. Her ongoing MPhil project is exploring specifically manga reading experience in the youth of Japan to flourish university students’ creative thinking by arts-based method and methodology. Her research interest involves interdisciplinary fields such as multimodal literature, visual arts, and cultural studies. Besides her studies, Anju has experience working as an intern in various companies in Japan and the United States; The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (USA), Yamamo Miso&Soy sauce brewing company and Unagi no Nedoko (Regional Trading Company) (Japan), and more.
