Ella Brown

Ella Brown is a final year PhD student in the Department of Archaeology at Cambridge University. Her research focuses on trabecular bone variation in the mammalian jaw and its association with diet in an evolutionary context. Ella has a MSc from UCL in Forensic Anthropology and Bioarchaeology and further works as a freelance illustrator, specialising in anatomical drawings. She has a keen interest in science communication and combining art with bio-archaeological research. She joined the ThinkLab Cambridge Festival Public Engagement Project (2021) due to her interest in science communication and museum outreach, as well as wanting to further develop her skills and experience in the public engagement sector.
