Ilias Moutsopoulos

Ilias is a PhD student in Bioinformatics at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute. His research involves utilizing machine learning algorithms and data science techniques to analyse and interpret complex biological datasets, in particular for the inference and characterization of Gene Regulatory Networks. He previously completed BA and MA degrees in Mathematics and an MSci in Systems Biology, also at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. After that, he worked as a management consultant for two years, gaining expertise in corporate strategy and financial modelling and working with businesses to help them make data-driven decisions. His passion is using technology to streamline complex processes and deliver widely applicable and scalable solutions to improve our daily lives.
