Isobel Brown

Isobel Brown is pursuing a MSt in Social Innovation with the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. She is interested in how to leverage innovative approaches to solve deep-rooted, endemic socioeconomic challenges, with a focus on how historical legacies continue to impact contemporary discussions on a range of issues today, including race, gender, and sexuality.

Prior to pursuing her studies at the University of Cambridge, Isobel served as an Associate and Consumer Industries Sector Manager at Brunswick Group, a critical issues and business advisory firm. During her tenure at Brunswick Group, she focused on advising businesses on critical issues that could affect their operations and reputation, ranging from major financial milestones (M&As, IPOs) to international profile raising, issues and crisis communications, and corporate reputation management.

Isobel also holds a MSc in Social Policy (European and Comparative Social Policy) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a BA in East Asian Area Studies and Public Relations from the University of Southern California. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
