Lily Tekseng is a third year Rowan Williams and Wolfson PhD candidate at the Faculty of English. She specialises in Postcolonial and Related literatures, focusing her research specifically on the cultural productions about the Second World War in the Northeastern region of India, or the erstwhile China-Burma-India theatre. Her research lies at the intersection of the study of the empire, production of borderlands, questions of indigeneity and Postcoloniality. She has previously taught at the University of Delhi, India, and has a degree in History and English from the University of Delhi, India, and the Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.
