Sarah Carden

Currently, I am working as a research associate in the Computer Architecture Group run by Timothy M. Jones. My research interests include concurrent computing, software production, engineering and software architecture of concurrent embedded systems, improving living conditions using low-power embedded systems, and application of AI in Software Engineering. In January 2021, I started an initiative called “Edge Continuum as a Backbone of a new Digital Economy System”, and was able to attract more than 70 partners from more than 15 countries. The project aims to tackle the issues related to global warming and preserving our ecosystems, through sustainable digital economy. By using edge computing, the project aims to create new jobs in the digital world, by providing tools and platforms that enable people without programming knowledge to create services and products.
