Verner Viisainen

Verner Viisainen is a PhD candidate at the Department of Engineering investigating the preforming of textile reinforcements within composites manufacturing, using both experimental and machine learning approaches. He has extensive experience in tackling sustainability and climate change related issues including being a trainer for the Cambridge Carbon Literacy Project, the Sustainability Officer for Pembroke May Ball 2019 and a co-founder of CamBridge2Environment, a 7 week programme connecting students with environmental charities in Cambridge.
